The City of Yangon was once the
cleanest city in Asia, some even exaggerated as the
Queen of the Cities. Yangon is the gateway to
Myanmar. Ever green and cool with lush tropical
trees, shady parks and lakes.
Mandalay
Mandalay is the historical old
capital, a capital of Myanmar culture, Buddhist
Sasana and Myanmar traditional arts and crafts and
cultural memorials and Buddhist edifices and
Myanmar's second largest city.
Bagan
The main tourist destination in
Myanmar is Bagan, capital of the first Myanmar
Empire; one of the richest archaeological sites in
South-east Asia. Bagan contains over 2000 edifices,
the well-preserved pagodas and temples.
Inle
Inle Lake is about 900 metres
above sea-level and 22 km long and 10 km wide.Inle
Lake, natural and unpolluted, is famous for its
scenic beauty and the unique leg-rowing of the
Inthas, the native lake dwellers.
Kyaikhtiyo
The Kyaikhtiyo pagoda is one of
the most ancient and celebrated of all pagodas in
Myanmar. The pagoda is said to have been built
during the life-time of the Buddha over 2400 years
ago.
Ngapali Beach
Situated about 7 km away from
Thandwe (Sandoway), one of the ancient Rakhine
(formerly Arakan) towns, lies the beautiful Ngapali
Beach. It is famous for its natural and unspotted
beauty up to this day.
Mrauk U
A new tourist site, which is
becoming increasingly more popular in recent years,
is the old capital of Rakhine (Arakan) called Mrauk
U. Some of the local people refer to it as Myo
Haung, the old city.
Ngwe Saung Beach
Ngwe Saung Beach Resort is one of

Myitkyina
Myitkyina is the capital and
centrally located in the Kachin State. It is the
northern most railway terminal, 919 miles from
Yangon and 487 miles from Mandalay. Visitors can
tour the Myit Sone, the confluence of Maikha and
Malikha Streams. Ayeyarwady, the most useful river
in Myanmar has its source from this confluence and
flows 1325 miles to the mouth of the river. The
water over here is crystal clear. The panoramic view
of the scenario at Myit Sone with the unspoiled
beauty of nature is beyond the expression of words
and will definitely be a fine attraction to
tourists.
Putao
Situated in the north of
Myitkyina, the capital city of Kachin state, can
reach only by air route. The city surrounded with
snow peaked mountains and the weather is cold around
the year. Flora and Fauna can be seen in the forest
around Putao. There are also many different ethnic
minority tribes in Kachin state. It is the nearest
town to the base camp for Climbing Mt. Khakhaborazi
(5889 metres), which is the highest mountain in
Myanmar and in Southeast Asia. Putao is the starting
point for Myanmar's most adventurous trekking
adventures.
